You wouldn't go outside without first putting on sunscreen, right? Neither should you allow your cat with white fur to sit in the sunlight (indoors or outdoors) without sunscreen.
Not only do cats get sun burns, they can suffer from heat exhaustion and get bee stings as well.

Uh-oh ... Mom didn't realize I could get hurt by the sun through a window! She's going to try to find some non-toxic sunscreen now.
