Milita's Monday

Milita enjoys her tree after eating some breakfast.
Hi everyone, it's Milita today.

I like spending part of my mornings in my tree here.  There isn't much to look at outside, though.  The electric company has their building right across from us, MOL.  Sometimes it is fun to watch the humans.

In my last post, I mentioned that the Mom and Dr. M agreed to try me on an alternating dose of 2.5mg and 5mg of Prednisolone every other day.

It was all going well - until Sunday.  I was on the Mom's bed Sunday morning and woke her up with an asthma attack.  She says she is going to call Dr. M today, and they will probably raise my dose to 5mg of Pred every day again.  The Mom doesn't like me being on so much Pred, but she says maybe it was the wrong time of year to try to lower my dose since the Spring allergy season is here.  The Mom says her allergies have been very bad, so she isn't too surprised that I had an asthma attack.

Other than that, I am okay.  I am not hiding from the Mom anymore.  I spend a lot of time on her bed - it is my favorite place to be.  Sometimes I even let Carmine share my her bed with me.  Just yesterday, he was laying right by me on the bed, and I let him.  I don't let him lay that close to me very often.  I'm a cat who likes her space.

You'll never guess where the Mom found me a few times last week....

Milita's in the pink cube having a chat with Angel Jewel

In the pink cube!

I never go in here, so Carmine was confused as to why I was in HIS cube where he talks to Jewel.  I told him sometimes girls need to have some girl talk.

I hope you have a wonderful week, everyone!

  1. Milita, here's hoping the doc and your momma can get your asthma under control! Glad you are feeling better, enough to share space with Carmine!

  7. I wish there was something your human could do other than the pred, but it's important for you to have that asthma under control.

  13. Nice to see you Lita. I'm sorry you had to have an asthma attack. This time of year is mostly when I get mine although I got a few when we had the furnace on.

  16. yep I bet that was due to allergies!! Cody usually has an attack at every season change....this year he was on an antibiotic and so far doesn't have one (he had scratched himself and created a lesion)....wondering if the antibiotic has so far prevented him from having a flare-up. Hope she is feeling better soon! catchatwithcarenandcody
