Friendly Fill-Ins

I just finished a 2000-word article and need a break! So, I'm joining Friendly Fill-Ins today co-hosted by Four Legged Furballs and 15andMeowing.

Today's fill-ins:

1. I refuse to shop in____________.

2. A store I wouldn't mind being trapped in overnight is______________.

3. I'm dreaming of_______________.

4. I wouldn't touch ___________________ with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

My answers:

1. I refuse to shop in Needless Markup - I mean Neiman Marcus. It's ridiculously over-priced. I don't have $600 for one pair of high heels. Even if I did have $600, I would not be spending it on one pair of shoes! I like shoes and all, but come on - that's just ridiculous.

2. A store I wouldn't mind being trapped in overnight is Barnes & Noble. I LOVE book, and I love bookstores! There are so many fantastic books I want to read and not enough time to do it in. If I were stuck in a bookstore, I'd have some time for reading. :)

3. I'm dreaming of....if we're talking literally dreaming, then I've been dreaming of my friend, D, lately family, and Carmine, Lita, and Jewel. If we're talking dreaming in the sense of what I'd like to happen in my life - I'm dreaming of love, of hopefully being able to publish my book someday.

4. I wouldn't touch Convenia with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole. Not after what happened to Lita. I got complacent. I'll never make that mistake again.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

  3. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers- sorry I am a day late. I will buy your book when you get it published, I am sure you can do it. I have only been in Neiman Marcus one time. I am the same, if I had that kind of money, I would not waste it on shoes. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! XO
