Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time where we reflect upon and give thanks for all that we are grateful for. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we each wanted to share some things we are thankful for.

 We are joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday blog hop today.

I am thankful for the unconditional love Tylan and Giovanni give me. I'm thankful for their love every day but am especially thankful for their love on holidays. The holidays are rough on me as I do not have anyone to spend them with. So it's often just me and the boys on special days. 

The boys and I will enjoy some turkey today, and Giovanni will get a little whipped cream when I have some pumpkin pie (Tylan doesn't like whipped cream, if you can believe that!). 

We are also thankful for all of our readers and friends here. We consider you all to be part of our little family, too.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving, and we have a lot to be thankful for!

We are thankful for a nice apartment that keeps us warm and safe.  We are thankful that we have a mommy who loves us so very much.  We are thankful for our delicious noms and treats and for our toys.  We are thankful for our soft beds, fleece blankies, and soft-sided kitty cubes.

We are thankful for all of our awesome friends, readers, and our extended blogging family!  We have met so many kind, wonderful, and compassionate friends through our blog over the years.  We cannot even begin to tell you all how much you have brightened our days.  You all mean so very much to us!

We are thankful that we opened our hearts and home to Angel Jewel.  We do not mean to bring anyone the sads, but we are all missing her so very much at this time of year.  We are sad she isn't here with us physically to enjoy the noms with us later.

We extend special purrs and hugs to everyone who has lost a furry friend and is missing them at this time of year.

We love you all, and we hope you all have a very wonderful day filled with love, laughter, joy, and delicious noms!

I am thankful for (Carmine)

Mommy says I should say what I am thankful for, so here it is:

- Having nice soft blankets to sleep on.

- For having a sister to play with.

- For having good food to eat.

- For having a mommy that loves me.

- For Milita's bed. ;)

- For having a warm house to live in.

- That mommy lets me sleep with her at night.

Thanksgiving preparation caution

As you prepare your Thanksgiving dinners, please remember to keep sweets away from your cats. Chocolate, in particular, is very bad for cats - it contains caffeine and theobromine, both of which are stimulants and can cause negative side-effects for your kitty.

Some signs that your kitty may have ingested chocolate include: vomiting, diarrhea, increased heart rate, tremors, hyperactivity, increased thirst, seizures, and increased urination.

If you suspect your kitty ingested chocolate, please call your vet, local animal hospital, or the ASPCA 24-hour assistance hotline: 888-426-4435.
